Research abstract

This SBIR Phase I proposal proposes to develop a Spectroradiometer Integrated Laser Analysis System (SILAS). This new system is designed for laboratory use, enabling fast, precise and automated spectroradiometric measurements across a comprehensive spectral range from 200nm to 14500nm. The SILAS is versatile to enable multiple spectral analysis missions, i.e., assessing the transmittance/reflectance spectrum of passive optical components such as filters and windows; characterizing electro-optical (EO/IR) imagers' spectral responses; and evaluating light emission source spectrum, to name a few. In Phase I, we aim to develop the overall system design of SILAS, with a distinctive capacity for significant improvement of accuracy and reliability of multispectral measurements, reaching TRL 3. ĀThe Phase II is to develop and validate the ATLMS prototype of TRL 6 or higher.
