Research abstract

Anello Photonics provides an Inertial Navigation System (INS) leveraging the companies commercial Silicon Photonics Optical Gyro (SiPhOG™) on a chip sensor technology with low drift and low bias. The SiPhOG's semiconductor manufacturing process provides a Size, Weight and Power (SWAP) optical gyroscope on a chip when integrated with the company's navigation algorithm provide a navigation system for operations in contested environments for air, ground, maritime and dismounted navigation in contested environments.  This key technology advances allow for the development of a high performance low SWAP Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for hypersonic vehicles.
