Research abstract

Occam Vision Group's Autonomous Optical Sensor (AOS) camera system is a revolutionary solution for advanced missile tracking and testing. The AOS system consists of 80+ ruggedized, lightweight cameras distributed across 10 pods, capable of capturing intricate missile movements at ultra high-speed (320,000 FPS) and high-resolution (400MP). Unlike traditional bulky, wired high-speed camera systems, AOS pods are fully autonomous with on-board processing, remote operation, and solar power for unmatched ease of use in harsh environmental conditions. Each pod is self-calibrating, self-localizing, and transmits real-time 2D/3D tracking data with GPS geolocation via WIFI6. The compact size (approximately 1" x 2" x 10") and lightweight design (under 2 lbs) of the pods allow for rapid deployment (5-10 minutes per pod) in remote outdoor environments lacking infrastructure. The AOS system also captures high-fidelity images stored locally on each pod for comprehensive post-processing analysis.ĀThe AOS camera system's proprietary reinforcement learning (RL) vision framework enables advanced, autonomous 2D and 3D tracking, revolutionizing missile tracking and testing by providing a high-speed, high-resolution solution that can be easily deployed in expansive, challenging environments.
