Research abstract

This SBIR Phase II proposes to further develop the Army ICARS software suite. ICARS provides informed mission plans to best place blue force assets in an operational environment. ICARS allows for full resource manaemengt and allocation automatically and delivers mission plans in a tactical environment. The Phase II will expand capabilities and develop an enterprise level software solution to compliment the tactical use case. Added capabilities will incorporate and model various information from a dynamic battlefield with ever-changing mission requirements. IERUS will develop a user-friendly product that can be field tested to prove effectiveness and advantage over traditional techniques as well as provide familiarity and confidence in the warfighter. IERUS will utilize AI/ML approaches to equip warfighters and decision-makers with technology capable of adapting to a dynamic battlefield and unforeseen conditions, providing them with mission planning beyond a classical approach, such as a simple lookup table.
