Research abstract

The objective of the proposed SBIR research effort by Spectral Energies, LLC is to design and develop a non-intrusive versatile sensor suite for health monitoring of APTU combustion system. The proposed sensor will provide CAH combustion abnormal instability monitoring as well as debris production activity monitoring. These sensor systems offer complementary capabilities for detecting micron-size debris and their constituents and combustion instability, thereby providing valuable insights into potential combustion system failures and facilitating preventive maintenance measures.
