Research abstract

AI Asset Management proposes an innovative AI Form Completion Engine (AI-FCE) designed to automate the filling of text-based data collection forms using Large Language Models (LLMs). This system is structured around four key modules: Form Training, Mobile Data Entry, Shipboard Data, and System-Wide Integration. It aims to enhance data quality through structured interactions, minimize the need for free text input, and ensure system-wide data consistency. By leveraging advanced technologies like AWS GovCloud, Textract, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), the AI-FCE will be capable of handling sensitive and classified information securely. This project focuses on developing a scalable, efficient solution that operates effectively in environments with limited hardware capabilities and without the need for constant internet connectivity. Through this R&D project, we anticipate significant improvements in operational efficiency, data integrity, and security within naval operations.
