Research abstract

SOFTwarfare’s proposal introduces biometric multi-factor authentication (MFA) to the DoD's ChatOps platforms, starting with MatterMost. Our patented BioThenticate solution provides secure, real-time user verification, operating in austere conditions without centralized services. This technology integrates seamlessly with existing systems, enhancing security without compromising usability, and aligns with the DoD's push towards robust, accessible communications in sensitive operational environments.  SOFTwarfare aims to elevate DoD communications security within ChatOps by incorporating advanced biometric MFA technology. Leveraging our BioThenticate platform, our proposal ensures high-level, adaptable user verification under any condition directly within MatterMost. This initiative not only meets modern security challenges head-on but also streamlines authentication processes for secure and efficient military communication, maintaining usability without sacrificing safety standards.
