Research abstract

The Department of the Air Force (DAF) requires constant readiness and relies heavily on the timely and secure delivery of information, supplies, spare parts, and equipment to various operational theaters. With strategic shifts to the Indo-Pacific and other austere locations – combined with technological advancements from adversaries – the DAF has a vital need to bolster its supply chain and logistics capabilities to operate effectively in contested and highly cyber-dense environments. Gray Matters' Maverix® platform fuses Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and AI/ML to allow users to securely share information and make mission critical decisions in real-time based on trusted data. Gray Matters proposes adapting our blockchain-enabled, AI-powered platform, Maverix, to provide complete and secure traceability, gain efficiencies through automations, and optimize processes with data-driven analyses of supply chain assets, materiel, and participants.
