Research abstract
The Quad Multi-mission Aerial Platform (QMAP) family of aircraft can help with critical logistics tasks such like refueling, rearming, and resupplying distributed forces down to the last tactical mile in contested environments. QMAP Aircraft are long range, versatile, heavy-lifting uncrewed transport aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing (Class 4/5 UAS VTOL) with specifications that drastically outperform others in its class. No roads or airports are required to take solid or liquid cargo exactly where it needs to be without ever putting a flight crew at risk. QMAP Aircraft are both practical and scalable; they can be adapted for many uses including aerial support, surveillance, cargo logistics, and tanker operations. Due to the inherent stability of the aerial platform, QMAP can operate in all weather conditions, even those deemed marginal or even risky for other current alternatives.
