Research abstract

SpyCloud stands as a premier repository of continuously collected, sanitized, and parsed Personal and Adversarial Identity (PAI) intelligence data from the darknet. With a robust dataset of 465+ billion assets from 37,000 breach sources and 1+ billion malware-infested 'infostealer' device logs, SpyCloud excels in identity intelligence, offering a unique focus on 50+ malware 'infostealer' families and scalable password cracking (22 billion plaintext passwords). This darknet data is transformed into actionable intelligence, supporting offensive cyber operations against U.S. adversaries and defensive operations for global U.S. interests. With a focus on China, Russia, and Iran, SpyCloud manages over 10+ billion assets, aligning with its Federal Mission to provide U.S. Forces with a cyber advantage. In tandem, the initiative emphasizes integrating and automating SpyCloud's unique identity data with Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS), an Air Force-utilized, best-in-class publicly available data source. This collaborative effort aims to enhance entry-level analysts' capabilities for rapid and accurate attribution in cyberspace, fortifying the Air Force's proficiency in offensive and defensive cyber operations.
