Research abstract

Vroom Solar is creating the first Smart Solar Management System for Plug & Play Power Generation. This fully automated system delivers AC output power to the end-userÆs microgrid, utilizing Load-Priority technology to prioritize load needs. Up to 98% efficient, the system produces on-site power without requiring energy storage solutions or energy supply infrastructure. The AC Input Power Source allows for maximized solar use first, and supplemental power second, if needed. Power can be produced anywhere, independent of batteries or the grid. This patent-pending technology can improve expeditionary energy systems, mobile microgrids and EV recharging infrastructure with predictive power management of the end userÆs load needs. The AC-input allows the end-userÆs choice of optional battery, generator with automatic start capabilities, or even the grid to power the Vroom AC outlets if solar wanes and canÆt sustain loads, such as overnight. Like an automatic transmission, Load Priority technology cycles AC power through a hierarchy of outlets based on two things: available energy and the priority of loads the end-user plugs into the hierarchy of outlets. Originally designed for off-grid, mobile applications, this technology has the potential to transform the solar industry. If there is daylight, the user has on-site electricity.
