Research abstract
Our SBIR proposal aims to revolutionize the field of procurement by developing a cutting-edge AI-powered chatbot, specifically designed to automate and optimize tasks related to the administration of publicly posted Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Employing advanced techniques in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning, the proposed system seeks to minimize human intervention in the processing, synthesis, and response to vendor queries regarding RFP clarifications and understanding of governmental requirements. The project intends to rigorously test and validate the efficacy of the algorithms and models integrated into the chatbot. The overarching goals are to provide real-time assistance, substantially streamline the RFP process, and establish a foundation for the chatbot's continuous learning and evolution for enhanced accuracy and effectiveness over time Success in this endeavor has the potential to set a new industry standard in procurement efficiency and effectiveness, thereby contributing to both technical innovation and commercial viability.
