Research abstract
At Andrews Air Force Base, home of Air Force One, security forces must be on high alert due to the presence of high-ranking government officials that become a target. For instance, in 2021, two armed suspects breached security barriers while Vice President Harris and four cabinet members were on base. One suspect was able to flee and evade capture ¢ an instance that could have been avoided with the proper technology.ĀĀPluribusÆ ANJEL Tech can turn any person with a cell phoneĀinto a revolutionary surveillance device for security forces.Ā ANJEL is a cloud-based, GPS-enabled, live-streaming and recording Personal Security Service that enables users to capture what is happening around them, securely store in the cloud while sharing precise locations, and notify security forces when appropriate.Ā Pluribus will execute a 3-month systematic and intensive?feasibility study of ANJEL with 316th Security Forces Squadron (316 SFS/S3) to establish the scope of modifications needed for the Phase II effort to adapt the core technology to fit 316 SFS/S3Æs mission.Ā
