Spaceborne ground penetrating radar as a service for defense, climate, and resource sustainability

The Heliospace Corporation (Heliospace), together with our partner the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), offer key technologies and a system level design for a spaceborne ground penetrating radar (GPR) suitable for defense, research, and commercial applications. The implementation for defense purposes focuses on shallow features at high spatial resolution to provide subsurface domain awareness for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and other Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders. This includes detection and location of underground facilities, personnel, equipment, command and control, tunnels, and other adversary defense assets, as well as environmental characterization relevant to operations.
