Research abstract

The Air Force has a vital and urgent need to increase situational awareness to detect and monitor threats and movement during ISR/SOF close air support (CAS) operations. Furthermore, personnel lack a centralized visualization tool to improve the proper placement of sensors to meet the increased needs of CAS functions and adequately display the output of these sensory networks in a user-friendly format, all of which is necessary to meet real-time requirements and match mounting threats from near-peer adversaries like China and Russia. With the WorldsAI platform personnel from the SOF operator to the Commander will be provided a holistic view into every aspect of day-to-day movement and operations during CAS. Worlds will implement a real-time 4D digital twin, visualizing sensory data projected in space and time.  Artificial Intelligence engines in the WorldsAI platform will then monitor sensors 24/7 and algorithmically fuse the disparate data streams into actionable information which will significantly improve CAS and situational awareness with AI-enabled capabilities for optimized CAS.
