Research abstract

The Air Force Research Laboratory, Aerospace Systems Directorate (AFRL/RQ) has significant interest in  advancing the state of the art for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and electric vertical take-off and Landing (eVTOL) systems with a specific interest in the testing, controls, verification, and validation of those systems. AFRL/RQ will be supported by Tangram Flex (Tangram) and The Ohio State University (OSU) during the Phase II prototype development and demonstration effort, Commoditized Confidence Through Software Assurance (CCSA).  CCSA will develop, refine, and integrate software analysis tools into a workflow which will provide software assurance for systems, based on the message sets and messages the system uses.  To do this, Tangram Flex and The Ohio State University will use Tangram’s Component Software Integration Platform (CSIP) Tangram Pro™.
