Research abstract

In this Phase II SBIR, QuesTek Innovations will work with companies familiar with the state of the art in both additive manufacturing and surface finishing technologies to expand the fatigue modeling capabilities developed during Phase I. Efforts will expand beyond simple test coupons and be applied to exemplar part geometries. Uncertainty quantification will be explored with respect to surface roughness and fatigue life.
