Research abstract

The overall objective is to develop an iPad (Electronic Flight Bag - EFB) capable T-6A using the nearly completed X-Plane T-6A already in use at Vance AFB and Sheppard AFB. The sequential steps for accomplishing this effort are as follows: 1. Determine the level of complexity and detail the USAF desires in the iPad capable T-6A 2. Identify the specific X-Plane T-6A code required to meet the initial USAF requirement 3. Prioritize the code to be converted to the iPad in accordance with the USAF requirement 4. Sequentially transfer the code to the iPad 5. Test and evaluate the iPad T-6A for functionality
