Research abstract

Osso VR, founded in 2016, has developed a scalable, validated virtual reality surgical training platform designed for surgeons, sales teams, and hospital staff of all skill levels. Osso VR is a leader in the healthcare virtual reality (VR) space as three of the top five medical device companies are current customers, and our technology is currently being used by some of the top training programs in the country, including Harvard, Johns-Hopkins, Columbia, Vanderbilt, UCSF, and UCLA. Our product offers highly realistic hand-based interactions in immersive training environments that contain the latest, cutting edge procedures and technology. The Osso VR team consists of a unique mix of clinicians, medical device industry veterans, and professional game developers. Our team’s deep clinical understanding, medical device industry expertise, and VR development background all come together to fuel this award-winning training platform. The mission of Osso VR is three fold: to improve patient outcomes, increase adoption of high value medical technology, and democratize access to modern surgical techniques.
