Research abstract

Research Associates of Syracuse (RAS) with teammate Rogue Ten Laboratories (RTL) develops and demonstrates the ÝCue Aggregation Algorithms for Multi-Function Receivers (CAMFUR) function. In Phase I the initialÝCue AggregatorÝ prototype (including at least one aggregation processor) is developed. It is demonstrated in a software simulation with existing RAS Machine Learning (ML) Cue Generator, Machine-Learning modulation and signal classifiers for a variety of signal classes and signal sets selected from RASí extensive library for development and testing. ÝIn the Phase I Option, an additional aggregator function is developed and initial Phase II interfaces and potential Ýintegration topics/issues addressed. In Phase II the full software prototype with multiple Cue Aggregators is developed and demonstrated with signals fed by complex waveform generators (digital data sets to include training, test,Ý and background data). For Phase III, the RAS team supports the Navy in transitioning software/firmware librariesÝto a Program of Record and in the integration and demonstration with the ES system.Ý Numerous commercial applications exist in the telcom domain as do applications for use with low cost software-defined radios using a reduced set of processing and specific cue aggregators / generators for small coreÝcommercial services within the IoT market.
