Research abstract

The TAF Mobile Office Module provides 4G LTE connectivity and office services needed by DLAs mobile workforce. The TAF Mobile Office Module is light enough to be lifted by one person and installs in the vehicle in under one minute. It allows DLA Disposition Services mobile workers to continue the use of GSA fleet vehicles by simply buckling in the TAF Mobile Office Module. This provides DLA the functionality and comfort of an office without the burden of capital expenditures, training, and maintenance associated with custom fleet vehicles.Seamless printer, scanner, internet, and DLA network access is provided by a state-of-the-art COTS WiFi to 4G LTE routerwhich allows DLA laptops and cell phones to securely and quickly connect to DLA networks. Power is provided via a built-in inverter, which connects to the standard5A, 12V cigarette lighter outlet. This powers the laptop, printer, lamp, and other desired devices. The TAF Mobile Office Module provides a laptop tray and writing pad that can be positioned comfortably for the user for use from any seat (3-positionable segments, 360 degrees rotation, 2-axes tilt), and also allows the TAF Mobile Office Module to operate as a standing desk.
