Research abstract

The Archarithms Sensor Resource Manager is a grid based solution that defines objective functions for ranking the utility of both track and search tasks, and provides algorithms for optimizing resource usage based on the developed functions. The method uses a modified assignment algorithm to optimize task assignments over a finite time horizon. An approximated utility function allows optimal assignments while maintaining the efficiency necessary for real-time operation. The method scales better than infinite horizon methods such as dynamic programming, making it well suited for the challenges of raid environments.
