Research abstract

Under this Phase II effort, OKSI will mature and demonstrate the MTT pipeline, fully integrated into the OMNISCIENCE™ autonomy framework. This solution addresses the mobile target tracking problem by autonomously performing search, detection, tracking, classification, target acquisition, lock, terminal guidance, and aimpoint selection on loitering munitions. Building on Phase I insights, the MTT/OMNISCIENCE™ system will be upgraded, optimized for real-time operation on edge processors, and validated through software-in-the-loop (SiL), hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), and captive flight tests. Ultimately, a closed-loop, fully autonomous flight demonstration against a moving ground vehicle on at least one LRS loitering munition platform will achieve TRL 6, underscoring the solution’s readiness for future operational needs.
