Research abstract

The Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) relies on manual, labor-intensive Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) processes, leading to extended aircraft downtime and increased sustainment costs. InspectHub is an AI-powered, on-premise inspection platform integrating X-ray, hyperspectral, thermal, and drone-captured imagery to automate defect detection, reducing maintenance time and improving sustainment operations. Phase II will deploy InspectHub at WR-ALC/CMXG, optimizing Air Force NDI workflows, predictive maintenance, and sustainment automation. The system operates securely offline, ensuring DoD cybersecurity compliance. InspectHub supports Air Force operational imperatives, enhancing readiness, logistics resilience, and sustainment in contested environments. Commercial traction includes IndustrialNext ($7K) and Aerovect Technologies ($20K). WR-ALC/EN and CMXG are committed to evaluating InspectHub for Phase III transition, with potential expansion to Hill AFB and Tinker AFB. Phase II objectives include AI model development, multi-source NDI integration, real-world deployment, and cybersecurity validation to deliver mission-ready sustainment automation.
