Research abstract

Selas Defense proposes to advance MultiLens, a novel AI-powered decision-support platform, to meet the Air Force’s urgent need for real-time, bias-mitigated, multi-perspective analysis in dynamic operational environments. Unlike conventional single-model systems, MultiLens integrates six Large Language Models (LLMs), each trained with distinct strategic and operational biases. This architecture enables side-by-side output comparison and empowers commanders to synthesize complex, fragmented data rapidly—reducing analysis time by over 70% while enhancing situational awareness and mitigating cognitive bias. Built on a commercially validated data platform capable of petabyte-scale processing and sub-100ms latency, MultiLens delivers responsive performance in both connected and disconnected environments. Phase II efforts will tailor the system to Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) needs by incorporating ISR data, edge-deployable LLMs, and secure ingestion pipelines for mission-specific data. Backed by a committed AFSOC customer and aligned with DoD AI readiness goals, MultiLens is positioned to enhance mission effectiveness, inform tactical and strategic planning, and transition seamlessly into a Program of Record. Its dual-use potential spans sectors from defense to finance and healthcare, with $5M in projected revenue and over 50 commercial clients already using the underlying platform.
