Research abstract

In our Phase I SBIR MagiQ Technologies demonstrated significant performance advancements in co-site interference cancellation using an optical signal processing approach where we showed ~ 65 dB cancellation of four interferers in the JTRS band. The method exploits the broadband linearity of optical components. In Phase II of this program we propose to further develop the technology and integrate it with a Power Amplifier and Low Noise Amplifier similar to those used in the JTRS ground mobile radio. A prototype will be demonstrated showing superior interference cancellation and dynamic range compared to traditional methods.
