Research abstract

In this Phase II program, we propose software enhancements to the Mayflower NavAssure SAASM P(Y) Code GPS Receiver to enable it to be used in military applications that require GB-GRAM type of interface, such as JTRS HMS, IMS and GMLRS platforms. These ground-based applications are size, power and cost sensitive. These proposed enhancements will extend the small-size, low-power and low-cost benefits of the NavAssure Receiver to a wide range of ground-based military applications by leveraging the GPS Receiver and Anti-Jam technologies being developed by Mayflower under a Navy SBIR Phase III program and Army SBIR Programs. The enhanced NavAssure GPS Receiver product, referred to as NavAssure+, developed under this Navy SPAWAR SBIR Program, also provides additional GPS jamming protection to military GPS receiver platforms when used in conjunction with the M-LEAN product being developed under the Army SBIR Program.
