Research abstract

Some of the data generated as a result of this SBIR or STTR project are considered proprietary. PI and company management will make this determination based on the nature of such data, its commercial value and company intellectual property (IP) protection policies. Besides IP, RadiaBeam treats as proprietary any data and research materials, which disclose confidential information, contain personally identifiable information, are business sensitive, or related to the US national, homeland and economic security. Manufacturing prints, simulations source files and input decks, and manufacturing processes specifications are generally considered proprietary. Non-proprietary data generated in the course of this project may include such items as technical design reports, numerical modeling results, experimental parameters tables, logbooks, experimental data and data analysis sets, presentations, photo and video recordings, and select meetings minutes. All non-proprietary data developed in this project are digitally recorded and stored by PI and other key personnel, as well as via back up servers. As a rule such data are available for publications, presentations and technical reports, and exchange with the collaborators, unless judged by PI and Company Management as invalid, incomplete, or irrelevant. All published data are generally accessible to the public via scientific journals, Jacow.org database, as well as via meeting and conferences website. In addition, all RadiaBeam personnel publications are posted at RadiaBeam website. To enable validation of the published results all raw data are stored at the author computer and RadiaBeam back up server, and are available upon request (unless designated as proprietary). It is anticipated that all generated digital data will be protected as SBIR/STTR data and therefore will not be publicly shared during the applicable SBIR/STTR data protection period. If any data generated under this award are published, an effort will be made to also release any related digital data that is not protected SBIR/STTR data.
