Research abstract

Alluvionic’s FlyBall is an efficient and lower cost electrical energy storage source that uses rotational kinetic energy for power. FlyBall uses the flywheel like concept that could not only serve as a power source, but also to control a satellite, unmanned aerial system, or undersea systems. In this Phase I, Alluvionic will conduct R/R&D to determine the feasibility of FlyBall to support the power generation needs for the Air Force for base infrastructure, ground support systems, and unmanned aerial systems.
