Research abstract

SGS technical objectives for the Phase II effort are to work closely with SEA05 and other agencies through a robust approach to data discovery, feasibility assessments, data collection and exploratory data analysis and modeling for Additive Manufacturing (AM) equipment and up to four subsystems. As AM is a R&D effort, SGS’ technical approach and workplan is focused on an in-depth assessment into the use cases to determine feasibility for data driven outcomes. This includes assessing what AI/ML techniques can be applied for predictive maintenance, but also prescriptive maintenance and a production plan to scale AI/ML solutions supporting AM equipment fleet-wide.
