Research abstract

Frontier Audio Labsĺ (Frontier) will provide USAF pilots, maintainers, and aircrew an AI Assistant that allows hands-free and secure access to checklists, technical manuals, and other information to reduce cognitive overload and increase mission success. The companyĺs proprietary audio and hardware architecture enable integrating powerful artificial intelligence algorithms into an advanced hearing protection headset, enabling áAirmen to ask questions to the headset (through the boom mic) to access information seamlessly. The AIA-EHP leverages a multi microphone array combined with advanced machine learning algorithms for clear voice pick-up in high noise environments, and advanced hardware for local and secure storage for the information database. Through providing instantaneous access to mission critical information, the AIA-EHP will enable the Airmen of the future.á
