Research abstract
Neck and spine injuries are a significant concern for pilots, particularly those operating high-performance aircraft such as fighter jets. The unique physical demands of flying these aircraftŚcombined with the intense forces experienced during maneuversŚcan lead to a range of musculoskeletal injuries.áNeck and Spine Monitoring System for Fighter PilotsBeONE Sports and Rice University are uniquely positioned to help reduce the incidence of neck and spine injuries among pilots through the development and implementation of innovative training technology and assessment strategies. BeONE proprietary training system "Comparative Training," utilizes biokinetic analysis technology which can track biomechanics during real and simulated flights to prevent injuries and enhance skills. The current customer solution is non-existent, and there is inadequate training technologies and systems addressing Posture Performance available to Pilots. Leveraging BeONE technologies, our team will capture baseline PPP data in the operational cockpit environment, train aerospace physiologists in PPP optimization technology and increase warfighter lethality, survivability and durability by training to an optimized standard across the fighter pilot enterprise.áOperational Areas: Tactical Air Dominance; Readiness to Deploy and FightProposal TeamBeONE Sports Inc.á ľ AI Performance Technology, Houston, TX.áWilliam Marsh Rice University ľ Office of InnovationLt.
