Research abstract

Lynntech, Inc. is poised to revolutionize antibody-mediated prevention of infectious diseases, specifically Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), through an innovative nucleic acid approach. By utilizing mRNA technology, our strategy enables the in vivo production of broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs), which is a leap forward from the traditional methods of antibody administration. This groundbreaking technique simplifies the manufacturing process and enhances the delivery mechanism of bNAbs, addressing the challenges of complex pharmacokinetics and the need for large injection volumes inherent in multi-bNAb cocktail development. Leveraging the successes of the Antibody Mediated Prevention trials with the bNAb VRC01, Lynntech is dedicated to creating a more potent combination of bNAbs with greater neutralization breadth, targeting of multiple vulnerability sites on the HBV surface antigen. Our mRNA-based method promises to reduce the frequency of injections, thus overcoming the high-costs and logistical complexities of current bNAb administration. The goal is to improve end-user acceptability and adherence while maintaining sustained antibody titers, thereby advancing the NIH's mission to enhance bNAb delivery for the treatment and prevention of HBV and extending the potential for other indications. This approach has the potential to set a new standard for bNAb administration, facilitating broader access and more efficient prevention strategies.
