Research abstract

One of the requirements for evaluation of infrared sensor systems, counter measures and target detection algorithms is rapid and efficient signature generation for target/background scenarios. Fast, accurate simulation codes (Real-Time Champ (RTC)) existto render target signatures, however development times for computationally efficient, accurate models and input databases to these simulation codes are unnecessarily long.Development times could be shortened if a system were available that could: (1) import 'older' engineering diagrams and new electronc
