Research abstract

Robot Operating System (ROS) is widely adopted in various robotics platforms including military robotics ground vehicles. However, ROS was originally designed for robotics research, which was meant to be run on workstation-class PCs with ample memory and always-available networking. To over the limitation, the proposed Assured Robotics Embedded Systems and Applications in Ground Vehicles (ARSENAL) effort will result in a secure, open, and modular RTK/ROS software stack on military embedded platforms.
