Research abstract

The development of a compact, ruggedized, and reliable turnkey quantum cascade laser (QCL) platform capable of delivering up to 80W of average power with a nearly diffraction-limited beam (M2 < 2.0) in the 4µm to 5µm spectral region is proposed. The laser system will be capable of operating pulse width range from 1µs up to CW.
