Research abstract

In this Phase I proposal Akita Innovations will team with Adaptive3D to develop a low-cost, flexible additive manufacturing technique to produce textured piezoelectric ceramics for undersea sensor applications. Our Technical Approach will develop a photopolymerizable binder system that is capable of high depth of cure in systems with high particle loading. This will enable digital light processing (DLP) additive manufacture of piezoelectric ceramics with excellent resolution.
