Research abstract

thatDot’s novel and unique technology combines the entirely unique and novel ability to ingest millions of events per second with an event-driven compute model to find complex patterns in high-volume streaming data. Matured within DARPA's Transparent Computing program specifically for the detection of nation-state level cyber advanced persistent threats (APTs). thatDot is poised to address complex identification of APT activities **before** a catastrophic cybersecurity event—a unique approach among the $1.5 to $2.0 trillion dollar cybersecurity solutions market. thatDot enables real-time event pipeline processing beyond 1,000,000 events per second when competitors often only process less than 10,000/sec, benefiting financial and authentication fraud detection, network defense & observability, recommendation engines, and much more. No other event processing system flawlessly combines out-of-order data from multiple event streams to trigger action in real time. Our partner, Dr. Bader of NJIT, brings additional world-class expertise on graph algorithms and past performance with Air Force customers.
