Research abstract

PHOOZY is an industry leader in thermal composite and 3D printing technology, with a successful line of commercial electronics protection products. PHOOZY is proposing the integration of electromagnetic shielding materials within their cutting-edge thermal composites to create multifunctional materials that provide Thermal Management, Infrared (IR) Control, Flame Retardant (FR), and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Protection to warfighters. PHOOZY’s Thermal Faraday composite layers include a matrix of radiant barrier technologies to insulate from extreme heat and cold, and reduce IR signatures, along with various high-shielding technologies to block WiFi, Bluetooth, cell signals, GPS, RFID, and radio signals for various applications, ranging from electronic device storage, critical base infrastructure shielding, and classified facilities/materials protection. These capabilities provide a significant tactical advantage in modern warfare, especially in situations where critical infrastructure hardening will be essential in a near-peer/peer fight.
