Research abstract

LogZilla seeks to embark on a Phase I R&D project aimed at tailoring its proprietary AI-based cybersecurity platform to the demanding specifications of tactical Air Force operations. This initiative will refine LogZilla’s existing capabilities in real-time logging and sophisticated anomaly detection, configuring them to cater to the distinct challenges faced by Air Force cyber teams, especially those in remote and dynamic mission settings.  Central to this endeavor is the enhancement of LogZilla’s Fly Away Kit — a compact, easily deployable system designed for quick setup of cybersecurity operations under any conditions. The research will explore advancements in AI algorithms suited for edge computing, allowing for high-efficiency analysis despite the constraints of low-bandwidth or sporadic connectivity commonly encountered in field deployments.  The expected outcome is a significant boost in situational awareness and threat response times for cyber personnel, irrespective of the operational landscape. This AI-enhanced capability ensures that cyber teams can rapidly activate network defenses, identifying and counteracting emergent cyber threats even during movement across forward operating bases. Furthermore, the R&D will broaden the commercial scope for LogZilla’s solutions, catering to sectors requiring nimble, advanced cybersecurity systems for dispersed and frontline scenarios.
