Research abstract

Thrust AI's existing ground fueling solution "LIFT" integrates edge-compute to perform in-field fuel transaction processing. The proposed subject technology RDT&E will expand capability of the existing LIFT solution to encompass Aerial Refueling - enabling theater-level austere processing between aircraft. Technology integrations will include offline-enabled application extensions, API development facilitating inter and intra cockpit communications, and UI/UX features to promote ease of operator use while in-theater. Edge architectures will facilitate background-sync API-like functionality, promoting “Fire and Forget”-like operations. The resultant technology will enable expanded aerial refueling capability in contested theaters with an aircrew-friendly interface.
