Research abstract
SkySafe introduces a forward-thinking subscription-based solution to counter the escalating challenges posed by Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in the National Airspace System (NAS). Our primary goal revolves around delivering real-time, precise UAS detection, tracking, and identification, greatly enhancing the capacities of USAF Intelligence, Force Protection, and Operations departments. As part of the Phase II SBIR initiative, our plan encompasses the strategic deployment and validation of these systems across critical areas. With our data securely hosted on Amazon Web Services, we utilize top-tier encryption mechanisms, such as TLS 1.3 for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest, ensuring robust data security. Our proven operational model significantly reduces the need for additional manpower, training, and maintenance, maintaining resilience in unmanned zones for prolonged durations. SkySafe's system is renowned for its adaptability, allowing for smooth integration with prevailing detection systems and data protocols, including Cursor on Target (CoT). Our real-time tracking capability spans vast territories, from bustling cities to challenging combat zones. Emphasizing our commitment to adaptability, our open architecture can cater to a myriad of requirements, from public stadiums to high-threat military domains. Expected benefits encompass a scalable, future-centric solution, resonating with evolving DoD needs and aligning seamlessly with current and forthcoming FAA identification mandates. On the commercial front, SkySafe's innovative offering has vast potential applications, ranging from event management in stadiums to safeguarding critical aviation infrastructures.
