Research abstract

To address US-Navy’s need for automated data labeling to create faster and more reliable AI deployment, Latent AI is proposing an automated workflow to label and annotate sensor data. The automated data labeling workflow is part of the Latent AI’s flagship product, the Latent AI Efficient Inference Platform (LEIP). LEIP is an on-premise MLOps SDK (software development kit), to optimize edge AI for low size, weight, and power (SWaP) hardware. There is no other industry MLOps tool that provides a ML development pipeline, with optimization and security together in a single framework already in IL2/IL5, and ready for IL6 integration. The automated data labeling module is called LEIP Label, and it can be configured specifically for configured for the US-Navy towards mission specific needs and sensor modality. Key mission-specific benefits include: (a) improved operator workload with an intuitive interface, (b) higher model accuracy across cluttered environments, and (c) faster deployment cycle.
