Research abstract

The proposed concept streamlines expeditionary combat resupply logistics through UAS cooperative teaming.Ā Complex combat tasking environments are broken down into smaller, subtasks and cooperatively assigned to multiple UASs.Ā Each discreet UAS then executes its assigned subtask simultaneously, autonomously, and independently.Ā Flight corridors for each UAS teammate are dynamically deconflicted/established within a larger operational airspace defined by a geofence.Ā A designated Air Control Authority (ACA) would establish the Air Plan to control each UAS.Ā Within that plan would be pre-assigned corridors, deconflicted by route and altitude, and the ACA would also designate Restricted Operating Zone(s) (ROZ).Ā All of this information would be used to establish pre-existing and overarching flight corridors from which multi-tasked UASs would be designated/allowed to operate.
