Research abstract

Problem: The proposal addresses the challenge of managing the vast amount of unstructured textual data in military intelligence. Traditional methods are inadequate for the volume of information, highlighting the need for advanced AI and machine learning for extracting actionable intelligence. Solution: Agolo proposes an AI-based solution to enhance the Air Force's decision-making capabilities. This technology automates the extraction of relationships between entities in textual data, facilitating rapid and precise data analysis. It's crucial for understanding complex global relationships and aiding informed policy-making. Approach: The proposed approach uses Generative AI and Large Language Models to extract relationships without predefining their types. This method surpasses traditional rules-based and machine-learning approaches by being faster and more adaptable to new domains or content. Phase II Objectives: The objectives include implementing a methodology for dynamic relationship extraction, developing a clustering approach, distilling a Large Language Model into a smaller, private model for classification, and creating an ontological representation for better human understanding. Commercialization Strategy: Post Phase II, Agolo aims to integrate this technology into its core Entity Analytics platform, targeting both commercial and government customers in various sectors like enterprise collaboration, knowledge management, and text analytics.
