Research abstract

Commanders need a tool which clearly communicates current and future sensor coverage in terms of the missions to be performed, highlighting any gaps. ĀThe Commander then must be presented with available sensor assets to fill those gaps. When a course of action is selected, the taskable ISR assets must then be activated and provided with the information required to perform their assigned tasks.Ā Our proposed effort combines off-the-shelf gap visualization, a library of taskable assets, and modern path planning to deliver the Multi-modal ISR Sensor Tasker, or MIST.
