Research abstract
FoxThree proposes Vehicle Dynamics and Agile Combat Employment suite We propose to do applied research on 4 articles in support of Agile Combat Employment and leading to Phase II decisions. They are: 1.ĀAuxiliary Vehicle Dynamics for the MC-1C (adaptable to others) enabling it quickly load and unload from C-130Æs without additional ramps; 2. Variable Radii End Of Arm Tooling (EOAT) that can grasp, lift, maneuver and load all Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground ordnance; 3. A 463L compatible ACE Agile Power System, (hybrid and solar) for CL/LOS power needs with minimal (potentially zero) logistical supply of fuel; 4. Modular AGE, with a single unit providing the hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical needs for CL/LOS aircraft turns. For the ACC A3/A35X Agile Battle Lab, for each of the above 4 items we will do the applied research on our initial concepts, execute simulations of varying designs, downselect the most promising candidates, coordinate results with the Agile Battle Lab, and deliver prototype ready designs including Bills of Materials, manufacturable drawings, and estimated costing and fabrication schedule. Technical Merit: In ōVehicle Dynamicsö, our engineering team has NASA design experience in relevant areas, combined with our substantial experience as an engineering and equipment supplier to Toyota, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Lucid, Michelin and more; In ōVariable Radii EOATö our engineering team has designed EOAT for customers including General Mills and more; In ōAgile Power Systemö, our owner has previously run a hybrid power manufacturing company with products delivered to USAF, US Army, NGOs, and more; In ōModular AGEö, our engineering team is experienced at delivering solutions in multi-faceted uses cases and specialized automated production and unique equipment for Toyota, Nissan, Tesla, BMW and more. All of our proposed Phase I applied research is grounded in known technologies, which we innovatively adapt and apply.
