Research abstract

Workera is a first-of-its kind assessment and learning platform for artificial intelligence and data science instruction. WorkeraÆs computer adaptive tests assess an individualÆs mastery of thousands of micro-skills necessary for specific jobs. Using our database of hundreds of global companies and thousands of Silicon Valley employees and top-tier CS graduate students, Workera benchmarks data/AI skill sets, real time, against industry peers and provides hyper-specific, personalized learning paths using open-source, paid and custom content to fill in skills gaps. Workera has developed a comprehensive precision upskilling and recruiting platform for jobs in machine learning, data science, software development and other technical domains. With recent news that the Air Force will miss its recruiting targets for the first time in 20 years, on top of a longstanding 20% shortfall in filling cyber billets that goes back to 2017, the Air Force is embracing innovative means to recruit, retain and retrain cyber talent Ś including introduction of a new cyber career track in 2023. Workera is poised to expand its one-of-a-kind platform for cyber domains aligned to DOD needs in order to swiftly assess and retrain using itÆs Precision Upskilling , which results in 40-60% time and costs savings over traditional training and upskilling.
