Research abstract
This proposal aims to research, develop, test, and evaluate the feasibility of integrating and adapting accident crash management technologies for traditional, electric, and autonomous vehicles into DoDĺs fleet operations.áDuring this SBIR Phase I, our primary objective is to work with the USAF Vehicles Support Chain Operations Squadron (VSCOS) to determine how SHzoom's Uptime TMáAccident Management System could be modified to integrate with Air Force systemsáand processes. Uptime utilizes an innovative computer-based method to simplify the vehicle repair process, underpinned by SHzoomĺs well-established patents in photo estimating and electronic repair management ľ a fact acknowledged by industry giants like State Farm and Allstate. Our specific objectives are: (1) Customer Validation:áWe aim to identify end users, buyers, and key stakeholders within Air Force Fleet Managementáand showcase the enthusiasm and interest in deploying an enterprise-level Accident Management System across the Air Force, and potentially other agencies.(2)áIdentifyáField Testing Partners: We will conduct extensive interviews with key stakeholdersáand potential end-users at multiple USAF bases to understand customer requirements and secure buy-in for pilot testing. (3) Integration Blueprint:áFinally, we aim to determine the technical scope required for network security mandates and seamless integration of Uptime by SHzoom« with existing systems like DPAS.
