Research abstract

Valkim Technologies, LLC has developed a patented, non-electric, intrinsically safe (ZoneĀ0) crawling robot for confined, hazardous and dangerousĀspaces. This capabilityĀdid not previously exist. Inspection of tanks and aircraft fuel tanks are environments that are confined, exposed to gases that require breathing support and require multipleĀpersonnel to execute inspection.Ā Robotics have presented a faster, safer withĀrepeatable result in other industries performing inspections. The first phase of this proposed projectĀidentifiesĀbest use cases for leveraging robotics, including and not limited to fuel tank inspections. Phase II will include adjustments,Āmodifications and trials of robotic system. The last phase will be implementation, andĀ creation of standardized work.Ā Valkim will leverage the vast industry expertise and system portfolio by harnessing transformative potential from robotic solutions in inspections for fleet readiness, to support maximized performance while maintaining SAFETY FIRST mentality.Ā This technical abstract underscores our dedication to fortifying national security and readiness in the face of evolving challenges. æUNLOCKING THE GAME-CHANGING CAPABILITIES OF ROBOTIC SOLUTIONS IN FLEET READINESS INSPECTIONSÆ Ā Ā
